Its been a busy few weeks, so a bit delinquent in updating the website. Tastes of the Caribbean dinner was a little crazy, really well attended and featured a tropical thunderstorm howling outside mid way through. We thought the food was tasty: stand out tastes for many was the Sea Bass and Shrimp Cerviche. Pictures to follow.
We were happy to support the Pittsburgh Men's Futures Tennis this year as we are all a bit tennis crazy. Wimbledon was good to have on at the she time as usual. If you have never been down, we highly recommend it. Free world class tennis up close and personal - not a bad thing.
Never knowing when to tone it down. We were fortunate to cater a grad party for 70 or 80 people on the same day as the car show. The hosts threw in a shrimp boil, Louisiana style for their guests! There was no shortage of food or drink. Great fun.
Having resisted for months we decided to go big or go home and do Italy as our theme. July is Italy South and August will be Italy North. Too much good tastes for one month. We will I'm sure disappoint a few because of Pittsburgh's strong Italian lineage and everyone has a "that's not how my mother made it" story. But, we are going to soldier on any way. Monthly dinner will be on Friday 27th.
