Orbis Caffe aka Orbis by Day is first and foremost a specialty "Coffee House" dedicated to serving excellent espresso, coffee drinks and single origin coffees. There are times however when it is a pot of tea that is needed to "hit the spot" in which case it is also a specialty "Tea Room" where our range of black, green or herbal loose leaf teas are brewed to order. Add to this our chai teas, great hot chocolate, fruit smoothies, Italian and French Sodas there should be a beverage available for any taste, time or season.

If it is a nibble you are after... OMG chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon twists, croissants and vegan blueberry muffins are staples in the pastry case along with a ange of Italian treats curtesy of the "Italian Ladies" from La Paste Dolci. Quiche has become a popular breakfast, lunch or anytime savory option. The fillings vary daily but the flaky cheese crust does not! These and our range of wraps, chili and soups are all made fresh in the Caffe.

On Sunday, Orbis expands into a "Brunch Spot" from 10.00am to 1.00pm serving a small menu of specials usually based around different country cuisine themes, along with regular eggy favorites. Our monthly country brunch theme then culminates with a dinner party usually on or close to the last Saturday of the month and which will now share evenings with our Orbis at Night Experiment!

Orbis converts into a pop-up restaurant Wednesday to Saturday from 5 - 9pm. Offering tapas style small and big plates created and prepared by young up and coming chef Holly Schutte in a New American cuisine styled around juxtaposed theme elements such as "Coffee and Tea", "Smoked and Poached" and "Tossed and Toasted"!
