Throw your hands up it's Monthly Dinner time!! Our next is on Saturday, September 30th.

Global Local is the theme, our favorite, global cuisine inspired by delicious local produce. We're getting into first fruits of Fall and we love them all. The dinner party starts at 7pm, so arrive with your BYOB in hand and ready to taste it all!  

$50 covers complimentary coctail, 5-6 courses, coffee and dessert. Seating is limited, so come in or call to reserve your spot. Please let us know at that time if you have any dietary restrictions.

SODA CLUB will Play at Orbis! Saturday Sept. 9

This is going to be one awesome show! Soda Club, the up and coming Indie "Sax-pop" band, will be playing our cafe on Saturday September 9, from 7-9pm.

These guys are so cool, they've got a fabulous female vocalist, drums, guitar, a ukulele, and a saxaphone!! They have a sweet, quirky, soulful vibe, whether they're doing original tunes or covers. We can't wait to have them here!

Classic American Folk with Christopher Mark Jones! Friday Aug. 18

Christopher Mark Jones is a bonafide american folk artist. Combining sophisticated guitar playing with compelling story-telling, his performances are always absorbing, refreshing, and super chill.

He'll be bringing that easy rockin' vibe to Orbis on Friday, August 18. The show starts at 7:30pm.

Tickets are $12, and because space is limited a reservation is required. Come in to the shop or give us a call to save your seat!

Lee Robinson and ISKA Bring Jazz to Orbis

Lee Robinson is a saxaphonist and composer who's been a part of the Pittsburgh jazz scene for years. A piano, drums, and bass guitar round out his 4-piece band, ISKA. They will be bringing their fusion style of jazz to Orbis Caffe on Saturday August 12, from 7-9pm.

Tickets are $12 and seating is limited, so call or come in to get your reservation. A menu of small plates will be availalable for sale, and BYOB is encouraged!

Orbis at Night Dinner - The Last Experiment

Monthly Dinner following a multi-course Prix Fixe menu featuring a collection of favorites from the last six months of our Orbis at Night Experiment Pop-Up restaurant menus. In all there have been four "Experiment" New America cuisine menus created by young chef Holly Schutte, around different themes: "Coffee and Tea", "Smoked and Poached", "Tossed and Toasted" and "Raw and Roasted". 

The evening starts at 7.00pm with a complimentary cocktail and appetizers. Seating and table service starts at 7.30pm. BYOB highly encouraged.

Tastes of Mexico

When the weather is cold, we think about warmer climates and food. Kicking off 2017 with a favorite country cuisine that we have explored before but with so much variety we are more than happy to head down south again for another Tastes of Mexico.

Our multi-course tasting menu will again attempt to explore and capture aspects of the complex nature of this cuisine while staying true to our view that we will never be authentic but its ok to be tourists and fans.

Tastes of Spain Monthly Dinner

Monthly dinner Tastes of Spain starts at 7.00pm with complimentary cocktail and appetizers and is followed by a fixed multi-course tasting menu.

Cost is $40pp. Please book ahead of time with the barista. If there are any food preferences or allergies advance notice is required.

Kicking off a new season of monthly dinners with an end of summer tasting menu of global dishes using as much locally grown produce and locally sourced meats and cheeses as we can find.

Event starts at 7.00pm with a complimentary cocktail and appetizers followed at 7.30pm by a seated multi-course small plate menu. BYOB is highly encouraged.
